Berwyn Kinsey has experience in the theatre as an actor, director and writer. As an actor he played William Banks in the World Premiere of the stage version of Virginia Woolf's To the Lighthouse. He has directed numerous productions including a Time Out Critics Choice version of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. His adaptation of the same writer's Salome, The Feast and After received five stars from the Scotsman and was nominated for a Fringe First.

Berwyn is the author of three other plays, including Pernicious Fictions, which has been performed in the UK and across the United States.
